SICS application/how to join page
Thank you for considering becoming a member of The Scottish Intensive Care Society. To join the SICS please click on the Join Now icon and complete an application form.
The SICS membership database is administrated by the Specialist Society Office of the AAGBI. Once you have submitted your application form you will be taken to a page where you will be able to download a direct debit mandate. Please complete this form, sign (in writing, not electronically), scan and email it to the Specialist Society Office of the AAGBI on email@example.com. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 pandemic the AAGBI office is closed so posted applications will not be received for some time so please email all completed applications.
Following approval by the SICS Membership Secretary and successful set-up of a direct debit your membership will be confirmed with you and you will be able to access all the benefits of SICS membership.
The membership year runs from March until the following February. Annual direct debits are collected in February; please note this is irrespective of the date of joining the Society so please bear this in mind when applying to join the Society.

How to resign membership:
Should you wish to stop your SICS membership, please inform the Membership Secretary and the AAGBI on email@example.com. Be sure also to cancel your direct debit. Unfortunately we cannot refund subscription fees already paid.
